Do we dare?

Dear Phinno.
As you probably understand, our new home has me occupied fulltime. And we haven´t recieved our keys yet.. I´m bursting with ideas, but the question is how many of them I should make reality. We are going to open up the hallway. Two boys getting ready to go out in the snow requires space, and right now the hallway consists of two smaller rooms we would like to make one. I am playing with the idea of tiles. I am obsessed these days with Moroccan tiles. I would of course keep everything else very simple, the floor is artwork in its own. What do you think? Press the link and you will se them layed out! Link: Far-Far

  1. Love them! I think they'll look great! Love the contemporary yet very authentic feel to them. :) Only thing that would worry me is how to keep them clean and slippery hallways (in winters).. give it a thought. If that won't be the case..I would def go for it!! Congrats on your new house!! Woo0hoo!! Can't wait to see how you style it :) I know it will look great, you are the ultimate style diva :)

And thank you so much for this blog!! You are such a sweetheart...make me feel so special *happy tears* squeeze hug!! <3

PS: this late late post is due to my iphone acting stupid when commenting on blogs...I had to use my laptop which is also acting weird due to lack of virus guard installed. Anyways, this won't happen again, hopefully!! :) misshhh yaah!!

  2. The tiles are authentic handmade tiles from Morocco. To keep them clean is just as simple as any flooring You wash them ;). However they do need to be treated with some sort of coating, i.e Flügger concrete/stone treatment, Plain natural soap to prevent stains, and to give them a tougher surface.

The pattern layer is 4-5mm thick and, withstand wear & tear for a 100yrs or so.

    All the best.
